On a lark I ordered a couple of the Nippon Zelos light weight shafts. I was surprised with the butt diameter. The 950GH my favourite shaft is .610 inches. The diameters of the Zelos 6 is .570. Very noticeable when installing the grips. These shafts are a great option to graphite but im struggling to bring these up to a standard grip choice. Should I wrap a few times or choose a larger grip size. Really caught me by surprise. The shaft does feel good as a supper lite option for seniors or ladies but we have to build up in some way.
