I have played the TE forged since 2018, still think they are great.
Are the irons better nowadays?
If I want to upgrade my bag, which irons should I consider? I have been looking at the TS3 and TS4.
I’m a 10 hcp.

The TE were/are great irons. I played them for many years. I couldn’t say when comparing to our current models that they are any better, but just as good. Depending on the player an new set could be better. One thing to point out is the the new models have more modern lofts. The TE’s were some of the last irons that had the more traditional lofts. They are kind of a larger profile as well, which is why they were so playable. We have progressed to be able to maintain playability without having to go oversize on “players” type designs by focusing on the mass and dimensional characteristics of the design. We have always done that, we are just better at it today and new technology in manufacturing and design has helped us.
I don’ think you can make a bad choice with one of our current designs. The TS3 is our best seller, the TS4 gets rave reviews as a highly playable players blade, and don’t forget to look at the TE+, which was and is the next generation of the TE. Slightly different profile, but just as playable, if not more. All of the new designs have the more modern lofts.
