I am in the process of building a club with a KE4 max forged. I am going to pair it with the Zelos seven. I’m usually pretty standard as far as length and lie but I’m curious what changing out that screw might do for me. My miss is typically on the toe so I’m not sure if that would be of any benefit to me to tinker with or if it’s strictly swing weight thank you in advance
I don’t want to speak for Britt but I think the general guidance with those weights is that they’re primarily for swing weight and have a negligible effect on the actual trajectory, closing the face, etc. That’s been my experience with the ke4 max weighting and the other weighted clubs Maltby offers. Word of advice: I removed and installed my ke4 max heads from heavier steel to light graphite shafts and it took a lot of head weight to get the swing weight back so you might preemptively order a couple of the heavier head weights too.
