Earlier this year, I decided I wanted to give Maltby clubs a shot, so I went to GolfWorks and ended up getting fit into the TS4s with FST 125 .370 X-stiff steel shafts.

So far, I have been loving the clubs. I have a ton of confidence with them, and my scores have continued to drop. I liked the experience enough that I went back and got fit into a 7 wood as well, which has also been awesome. Tensei white x stiff shaft. Launches high. Goes straight and lands so soft.

The biggest issue I have run into is some inconsistency with my 4 and 5 iron. I know that could probably be helped with more practice, but since I do not have unlimited time, I have been playing around with the idea of switching into a TE+ or TS3 4 and 5 iron with the same shafts sometime down the road. Something with a little more forgiveness, maybe a touch stronger loft, and that same forged feel would be ideal.

I wanted to see if anyone else has done something similar and what their results were. Since I probably cannot test a 4 and 5 iron side by side at GolfWorks, I am curious how others would approach this.

Thanks!
