Get yourself a 3/8 inch drill bit.  A 3/8 drill bit is .375.  If it fits down the hosel; the hosel will accept a .370 tip.  If not, you are looking at a tapered bore.

It looks to me that the shafts available from the supplier I mentioned would require modification (i.e. sanding significantly)  in order to fit them with a modern head.  I will try to find out more information.
