Golfworks can do a very good fitting for you at their location. Depending on where you are at in Michigan it may not be that bad of a trip.
I’ve got a couple old new stock steel shafts I can send you, if you’d want them. Direct message me if you’re interested
John I would say the max milled head will be heavier than most of the OEM counterparts out in the market. When you increase the swing weight by more than what your body is comfortable with the club might...
I don’t see why that would be a problem. Steel wood shaft selection these days is very limited though. You likely have the old Memphis 10 steel shaft that came in the club originally?
You ever heard of shaft skinz? I had a buddy try these years ago and they looked ok. It probably would’ve been better turn out but I think the skin got to hot. He used a heat gun https://www.shaftskinz.com/
Looks like TS 3.5 and I believe they’ll be in late this fall.
I’ve hit the TS1-IM and I don’t remember a distinct sound with that head. Feel and sound go together imo and if it feels firmer you’ll likely think the sound is higher.
Use the bushing that Golfworks offers and install whatever shaft you’d like. SADW SADI
Britt any kind of ETA on the TS3.5?
It could be just a difference in the shafts and/or it could also be a difference in clubhead design (something doesn’t fit your eye and you do something with your swing) or clubhead specs. One head is...
When you say the ball is drawing is it starting to the right of your target and going past the target? or is it more straight at the target and going to far left?
It seems to sit flat (in my eye) but looks great to me. I just hit a few balls into the back of my property and it feels really solid. Flight was very good and no ballooning.
britt curious if you or Pete has tried to adjust one these for lie yet? I just picked up the 6 hybrid and it sits really nice for me.
I guess no reason why you couldn’t do that. Just be careful not to cut your fingers off!
Are you building irons and woods?
I don’t consider myself a good ball Striker when it comes to irons but the TS4 are solid, even for me. I’ve got test clubs in just about every Maltby iron head. I’ve hit both the TS4 and the Sti2...
I think the soft stepping one time is a nothing burger. That works out to a 1/4 flex change. How about adding some lead tape to one of the underside of a 90 shaft? That should give you sort of a baseline...
Do you know the specs of your driver and your 3 wood? Shaft weight of both? Assembled Length of both? Swingweight of both?
How are you measuring the club to get 37 1/2”?
