I’m using an old Mizuno jpx EZ forged five iron with an elevate tour VS shaft and it seems to blend with my TS threes nicely. It definitely wants to get up in the air and is easier to hit, all in all.
Thanks everyone.
I have a set of TS3 irons that I ordered at D0 so I could fine-tune the swing weight by adding lead tape. I’m having a hard time figuring out what works best for me. Are there any guidelines as far as...
The title says it all.
In comparing the TS3 to other irons, would you say that they are players distance irons, players cavity back irons, Game improvement, or what?
Thanks. I appreciate your help. I’m looking at a recoil dart 105 F4 without the soft stepping, thinking that a little added weight and a little added stiffness might do the trick. Does this make sense?
I am playing TS3s with recoil dart 90s in F4 soft stepped once. They are great for a smooth swing, but my typical swing error is too fast a transition and they don’t like that at all. Is there a shaft...
Will I see a significant difference in forgiveness or anything else if I switch from the three to the 3.5?
P.s.— i’m hitting the irons wonderfully well as of today, after a week’s adjustment. Thank you so much for creating these.
No worries. It’s hard to tell how much of this is just in my head. The main thing I wanted to know is whether the lead tape is screwing things up and you’ve really my mind about that. Thanks again...
Britt, I hope my barrage of questions lately isn’t taking advantage of your good nature/accessibility. If it is, feel free not to answer. The four iron in my TS3 set came in with a much lighter swingweight...
Thanks!
I received a set of TS3s with Recoil Dart 90 shafts, soft-stepped once. My old clubs are JPX EZ Forged with Elevate tour shafts (115 grams), also soft-stepped once. I’m adjusting well to the weight difference,...
Thanks, Larry.
thank you
I have a set on the way and it would be helpful to know if I need to take special care with these.
I think the midsized and jumbo feel a bit softer, but as Britt said, the regular size is good, too. Also, for a lot of people, a larger grip relieves hand pain, assuming you don't have smallish hands....
CP2 Wrap midsized
Thank you. Would this be a noticeable difference when swinging a club?
I know that many times a lighter version of the same shaft has a slightly weaker flex. Is that the case here?
