Not a way to remove head weight other than the weight itself. You can reduce by 6 grams by installing the 2 gram weight. Not sure another 1.666 grams beyond that would make a difference, at least to me, but if so then what jbhoover suggested would be an option.

I needed to do the same thing and contracted a local 3D printing shop and they made plastic weights by copying the 2 gm Maltby weight. They weigh about 1/3 gram. Was about $30 for 25 of them as I remember. There are a lot of people with 3D printers. I’m sure you can find someone local to so it.
