This is a continuation from an earlier post.

I built a TS3 five iron with a Fujikura Vista Pro 60i R shaft, as a test to see if I would like the head and the shaft.  If all went well my plan was to build an iron set 5 thru PW.

I am blown away with the head. There is nothing wrong with shaft, technically.  I want to be blown away with the shaft, and I’m not.

I have steelfiber FC70, F3-R shafts in my current irons, that are five years old. I’m satisfied with the mid flight, and my dispersion. I want to chase more distance without sacrificing accuracy.

I am 3B2M using the MPF ratings. Along with the Fujikura Vista Pro 60i shaft I considered the following shafts:

Mitsubishi C6 Black 60R

UST Mamiya Recoil Dart, FR3

KBS PG1 graphite iron, R

I have a slower takeaway and a smooth tempo.

Is there a better shaft that I could be using? Even shafts that I haven’t noted above?

Is the steelfiber shafts I currently have the best for me?

I want the maximum distance and accuracy that is available.

I want to start next season with the TS3 heads, with the best shaft for me.

Am I being too picky?
