Besides the adjustability, I would say the sole is the biggest difference. IST stands for Interactive Sole Technology, which describes the shallow rails and weighting we engineered into the design. We found, in our testing, that they performed extremely well from a variety of turf conditions. Not that the TC doesn’t as well, but the IST does seem to help get the ball launched a little easier from tight lies as well as some of those lies when the ball is sitting down in the grass a bit. The rails are not nearly as extreme as we did in the old Trouble Out models we did years ago, but they do assist in both the turf interaction and weight distribution.
