Hi Britt,

Im curious what you would recommend for me on driver, Max vs TC Pro vs my current driver.

I’m a 5 hdcp from about 6800yd tees.

I was fitted for a Callaway Epic Max LS from 2021 on the 10.5° neutral setting on a Black Ventus 7s shaft.

My swing speed is 115 and average carry distance around 270, with good swings I can carry closer to 300 but it’s rare due to my fairly strong angle of attack and higher spin rates. I’m fairly straight or have a slight cut, if I miss it’s a bigger cut and I’m okay with that.

Would either of the maltby heads help keep spin down and give me any more carry distance on my normal steeper swings?

The Pro is definitely the lower spinning option. Based on your swing speed and what you said about your angle of attack, if you want to try and reduce spin, that would be the first one I would try if I was fitting you. The MAX is a great driver and our best seller, and it could probably be adjusted to some degree to work as well, but I think the Pro may be the easier to dial in. I prefer the shape of the Pro and it’s shape seems to appeal more to better players, like yourself. It’s more pear shaped like classic drivers used to be, while still being 440cc’s. That is a little smaller than the Callaway. The Callaway looks a little longer front to back and is 460 cc’s in overall size.
