I’m adding a 3 hybrid to my bag, but I need a forgiving one. I am currently hitting Ping G400 4 an 5 hybrids and I usually hit them well but can sometimes struggle getting them off the ground. I need the extra distance but my inconsistency makes forgiveness a must. I also can be prone to line drives so anything that launches higher is a bonus. Thanks for your time.
We have our KE4 TC and KE4 TC Pro IST hybrids and both are great performers. That being said, the Ping G400 are not that different in shape or specifications, so not sure you’re going to see a big difference in forgiveness. All of these types of hybrids, just based on the mass and dimensional characteristics of the heads, have a high level of forgiveness. Other that refining the fit and making sure your playing the right lofts at the right lengths with the best shafts for you, difficult to say how much more forgiveness you might get from either of the models we have.
