What current Shaft is the same as (or darn near the same as) the older Even-flow Red Max Carry shafts?
Not sure why… I’ve had these in some of my older Fairway Woods & Drivers a couple yrs back…and always hit them really well but migrated to other shafts. Today pulled out my older cheaper Driver today with this Red shaft and absolutely killed my drives! Best I have driven the ball in over 16 months!
Anyone know of its equal today?
Not sure if we ever carried the EvenFlow Red Max Carry and we do not have the shaft profile in our database. Was able to find that it is / was a high spin, high launch shaft that came in 5.0, 5.5, and 6.0 flexes (56g, 58g and 59g respectively). Torque was listed as 5.0 degrees on the 50 gram options. Also came in a 5.5 65 gram option and 6.0 66 gram option. Torque on the 60 gram options was listed as 4.0 on the 5.5 and 3.8 on the 6.0. Also listed a 70 gram series in 5.5 75g, 6.0 76g, 6.5 79g. Torques were 3.8, 3.3 and 2.3 respectively. All still listed as high spin and high launch. That’s about all I can offer at this time. Will ask Jim and continue to see if I can find more information.
Several high launch, high spin options out there, so maybe the above with the weights and torque ratings might help in your search.

Yea.. thats it. Great shaft. I knew those specs … I also think it was counterbalanced (butt weighted) as well… thus why I felt the need to see if anyone had firsthand experience.
