Have not measured the specs or the mass and dimensional characteristics of the gapr mid 5, so difficult to know if there is something in the design that contributes to what your experiencing. I can say that loft is the primary factory in trajectory, by a lot. Also, what you do to try to flight it down or work it is a factor. I play the TS-UI #3 at times and #4 all the time and I can do whatever I want with them. Very easy for me to flight down. I think if you look at the TS-UI #4 at 22 degrees, you should be able to hit it lower just because of the loft, if the loft of the gapr 5 you are hitting is 24 deg. Whether or not the lower loft of the TS-UI #4 causes a new issue with being able to hit it higher on long approaches, I couldn’t say. Again, the loft is the key factor but how you go about hitting it higher or lower is also important. You may have no problem with it.
Only way to know for sure is to try it. The feel and performance has been awesome for me.
