Brit, you had stated that a new driver head was on line for the new model year. What are your design goals and targets?
The design goals for the new driver were to create a high performance driver, like the ST 2 and ST 2A, but in a 4 piece forged construction and without an adjustable hosel. By using the precision forged process and eliminating the adjustable hosel, we will be able to offer a great performing driver a lower price point. Not sure what that’s going to be just yet, but it will be less than our current offerings. Also, we will offer it in 9.5, 10.5 and 12 degree lofts.

I can’t argue with that line of thinking. I’ve played the adjustable club game but once the club is properly fit I don’t tweak it, just the swing. With the recent spike in driver prices I believe the club making market will be gaining ground.
