I have a set of Maltby irons with Grafalloy blue Prolaunch graphite R flex shafts. Is it possible to tell whether I have 60 or 80 gram shafts just by looking?

Pro Launch iron shaft weights as follows: A flex 80 grams – R flex 81 grams – S flex 82 grams. The weights are based on 41″ lengths (uncut).
Pro Launch shafts are one of my favorites, very consistent shafts.

Whoops, I did check the 2001 catalog which offers only the 80 gram iron shafts.
Didn’t know the 60 gram iron shafts were available thru Golf Works.
My apologies, T Brandt
Deadeye FYI: The Pro launch iron shafts are available “only” in the 80gram weight class from Golf Works. The 45/60 gram shafts are for fairway woods and drivers.
Hope this answers your question.

We do carry a 65 gram ProLaunch iron shaft (TT0173) in the A and R flexes and the 80 gram version (TT0135) in the A, R, and S flexes. The 65 gram version will have “65-R” in a square after the logo. The 80 gram version just has the flex “R” in a square below the logo, no weight is listed.

I guess I was not clear enough in my question. The Prolaunch blue iron shafts are sold as either 60 or 80 gram weights by Maltby. Are they marked as to what weight they are that you can see after they are installed?
