Wondering how others feel about adding a decent amount of weight in the tip of steel shafts. Built a few TSW wedges this weekend (DRM finish which looks outstanding), and despite requesting heavy heads, I still had to add 6gm weights to the shaft tips to get a “standard” SW. I don’t like the idea of adding that much weight to the tips and wondering what people thing it does to the CG of a wedge. Not sure why the weights of these heads are lighter than others from Golfworks, in fact the new Maltby MAX Milled wedges are 5-9gms heavier, loft dependent, and they also have the weights out at the toe, which makes more sense to me. I didn’t buy those due to the amount of offset. Appreciate any feedback.

What shafts did you use? Sometimes the KBS steel shafts need more tip weights due to being counter balanced.

decided to use the Score LT provider with the club pak. A heavy enough shaft that it wouldn’t negatively impact SW. Clubs were built to standard (if there’s such a thing) length.
