Should the raw shaft weigh what the spec sheet says or do you have to tip weight it to desired specs

Not exactly sure what you’re asking, but the weights listed are the raw shaft weights for 37″ to 41″ discrete lengths of each flex. The AMT White is a ascending weighted shaft, meaning the longer irons are lighter than the shorter irons. Most discrete length taper tip shafts are constant weight, but the AMT technology (Ascending Mass Technology) is the key feature of this shaft. the idea is that the longer irons with lighter shafts would be easier to swing and generate speed, while the shorter irons are more traditionally weighted for accuracy and control. You will probably need to adjust the swing weight slightly (using tip weights or lead tape) due to the variable weights of the shafts. all depends on the lengths you are building and the head weights as to how much.
