JPX 850 forged Pw – 6I JPX 850 standard 5&4I,s. Decided to try 850 standard in 4&5 to add some height and loft in each. But both feel light and I hit them all over the place. Added weight (lead tape) to both and seems to solve issue. All irons have same shafts (Steel Fiber).

I hate lead tape all over the club head so want to pull shaft and add weight at shaft tip in hosel. Just wondering where I should trim length so clubs stay the same.

I meant add height and ball speed not height and loft.

Although there won’t be a significant amount of added length after you install the tip weights, always trim from the butt end, and when the shafts are taper tip, as in this case, you never tip trim those anyway. Hope this helps. Michael
