I am looking at building my own broomstick putter, but am having issues finding details on if the Maltby hosels can be bent from their standard lie angle to the 79* lie angle necessary. The info says they can be bent, but it doesn’t say by how much and how hard it is to do.
Has anyone done something like this, and if so how difficult was it to accomplish?

I’ve found the Aluminum to bend nicely. Recently used a 2.5 incher to build an armlock putter for a player 6’5″, requiring some serious loft added – bent easily and the end fit was “perfect”.
