Looking at putting new shafts in for my pops ole Callaway X Tour Irons. The OEM shaft is installed and is .365 tip.

1) What shaft options do I have besides boring the irons out to .370?

2) Is there a shimmy that you recommend to use to utilize .370 shafts?

I’m pretty sure that club came with taper tip True Temper shafts, which means at the tip it would be .355. (If you measure above the ferrule, it could be .365.) If you pulled the shaft, then I’d get an exact measure on the hosel bore. It’ll be either .355 or .370. Then order and install shafts accordingly. If it is a .370 hosel bore and you want to install a taper tip, Golfworks has a special shim, the SHIM-T designed to be installed in a .370 bore with a .355 taper tip shaft.

Michael I surely appreciate the help! I was thrown off by the specs .363t. Never seen it before except for this Callaway X Tour Model. So after pulling the head it was .355t which is great news.
