I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, and I wonder if you can answer my question….. Is there any way to predict the difference in yardage between fairway woods and hybrids of the same loft? I know the fairway wood has a longer shaft, a smaller tip diameter, and different flex characteristics. Therefore is there any formula or list of logical steps one can apply to tell HOW MUCH farther the wood will travel than the hybrid?
The estimation/calculation is carry distance.
