Thanks for the feedback. Products have cycles and we have to evaluate every year. We understand that through the transition there can be some gaps created. M890 and first edition STi2 had to go. KE4 Max and the new STi2, we felt, could fill those gaps for now. Not sure if we will develop another M890 type line or not. Some projects have been delayed due to the uncertainty with the trade situation, but as of today we are hopeful that is behind us and we can ramp up development for 2026.
We have made the conscious decision to not make cheap investment cast models. Nothing is cheap anymore, but the ones we do development using our investment casting process will be really good and will be less expensive than the forgings. I do think there is room for another quality investment cast iron we can do at a lower price point and we are evaluating. As far as drivers, I agree we need some higher lofted, non-adjustable options that are more affordable. We are looking at that as well.
Lastly, development times are a lot longer than they used to be and it’s difficult to transition out of one product, like the M890 for example, and have the next version available right away. It may take a season without before the next version will be available.
Hopefully this gives you some insight. Thanks again for the feedback. Always appreciate it.

I havent ventured into maltby woods yet but will speak for the irons.
Do you need more cast iron options? If you want a nice looking playable iron, get the sti2.if you want more forgiveness ke4 max. And they are less than a quarter of the price than anything the oems are putting out.
Then you have a range of premium forged heads to cover a lot of different swing types, ability and visual preference.
I think it’s fair to say maltby are aiming at a niche market somewhat but are well covered when it comes to the average golfer as well.
