Ok, so this is a little weird.

I had a guy walk in my shop wanting me to put a graphite shaft in a Cleveland Halo XL iron #6 head. I thought for sure it was a standard 0.370 install, but from everything I find online they use a shaft tip size of 0.362″? Does anyone even make a shaft with a 0.362″ tip or is it made especially for Cleveland? Should I get a 0.370″ and grind it down a little? Or get a 0.355 and shim it up a little? What do I use for a ferrule?

I’ve never seen this one before.

Miyazaki made iron shafts specifically to fit these, IIRC I may have a couple left in my shop.

You could also sand a .370 or shim a .355 tip shaft. If you go the shim route you may have to take a couple of tabs off the shims to get them to fit right.

I found this ->https://ozarkgolf.com/products/cleveland-launcher-xl-halo-irons?srsltid=AfmBOooQeb5jXFZ4FePv5Iqe0p2wXvAcbH6dhfZqC1k1WZWQ7koQLAQo

. . . and at the bottom of that link it recommends “PROJECT X CYPHER IRONS GRAPHITE SHAFT” that they claim comes in a 0.362″ tip – but in the Golfworks catalog it says it’s a 0.370″ tip.

Looks like I’ll have to do a little grinding, and use a split ferrule. I think that’s the easiest way out of this. Thanks for the help.
