I’m 63 and have played in 25 years. Even then I played very sporadically, typically shot in the between 100-110. I’m thinking something in the $500 range would be a good place to start. I just want to have a little fun, and keep my expectations realistic.

Locally there’s a set of Ping G irons, 4-9, P, U wedges. Blue code, AWT 2.0 steel shafts, $300.

But the Maltby’s seem to be a great value. The KE4 line and Sti2 look pretty good for what I want. A set might be 6-SW TT steel shafts of the KE4 line or STi2, 890 5 hyb, 890 Driver & 5 wood. R or A Flex I would assume. All for under $500.

One issue may be the iron shaft in the pak is not available in A.

Thoughts on this setup? The used Pings?
