I did a set with Aldila 85 gm shafts. The swing weight came out heavy. I wanted to put a different set of graphite shafts in these heads since I need more flex for better trajectory. I was wondering if I would have to counter weight them or would I be better off to do some different heads. My son also has a set with the KBS tour s plus and they are also very heavy. Any feedback would be welcome.
It would help if I knew the length you made the clubs and what the actual swingweight was with the 85 gram shafts. At standard length, with the 85 gram shafts, the swingweight should not be heavy.The KBS Tour shafts are a standard weight steel shaft and I can understand if those were a little heavy, but at standard length even those should not be beyond a standard swingweight range. If you can give me a little more information I will try and give some guidance.
