I am looking for advice with regards to collared ferrules vs non-collared ferrules. My belief is that if a club hosel is machined to accept a collared ferrule, any reshaft job should be done using a collared ferrule, only. It is my opinion that merely filling the space between the machined part of the hosel and the shaft with epoxy and using a non-collared ferrule will not provide the same level of shaft support intended by the club engineers. I have heard some folks say that using epoxy and a non- collared ferrule is just as good. Please advise.
Thanx Britt
