New to Maltby and excited get my first set! I’ve kind of a weird idea and wanted to get some input. I was building a combo set in the custom shop of ts3 5-7 and ts4 8-pw. Come to find out the 5 iron in the ts3 is currently out of stock so what I have done is added a ts1 im 4 & 5 iron. Am I crazy? I’ve been told both the ts3 and ts1 im would work fine with the ts4 as a combo set. Also for context, the ts3 and ts4 are regular steel shafts and the 4 & 5 ts1 im are stiff graphite shafts.

I haven’t purchased yet these are just what I currently have in my cart

We are pushing to get the Pearl Chrome TS3 heads we need back in stock. The tariff situation through a kink in the delivery plans, but hopefully that is resolving enough that we can get them on the way sooner rather than later. Still might be a month or two, but working on it. Like was mentioned, the DBM versions are in stock and look awesome if you wanted to try them.

I’ll be honest. I have the TS4 in pearl and the TS3 in DBM. The pearl is classic and the DBM is “exclusive” looking. Buuuuuuut you can see your wear marks on the DBM easier. Easiest solution. Get the TS3 in DBM. They have all of those heads in stock. I have both the TS4 and TS3 sets. I combo them sometimes and play full the full set of each. They are both excellent. You can get all the clubs both TS4 and TS3 in DBM or just do the TS3 in DBM. You’ll love them!

Yea I saw the DBM was all in stock. I’m a sucker for the pearl finish though lol. I think what I’ve decided is to just get a 4 iron in the ts3 and once the 5 is back in stock order one to complete the set. Excited to get them in! All I’ve seen is how great they perform!
