I have been playing 7-GW in the sub70 699 irons with Graphite Recoil Shafts.
I am looking at perhaps moving to Maltby. What would be the right iron(s) to consider in the Maltby lineup?
most of my current shots have the proper distance, most of them also have a draw to them currently. I am well aware that is a function of my ever changing/improving swing mostly.

Have never measured the sub 70’s for playability, so I can not compare that part of it. Based on what I read, the 699 is a hollow body iron with polymer injected. love this community and their help and knowledge. I thought i would come back and post, i ended up going with a set of TS3’s with graphite shafts R Flex (my swing speed dictates that one)
I have only hit the TS3’s a couple of times but they are simply amazing .
They almost wont let you hit the ball poorly.
The only thing i am finding so far is that i get alot more loft in my shots than with my 699’s , which im not COMPLANING about.
I have added about 4-6 yards of distance on avg with them as well .
Also, my club speed has greatly increased , my TS3’s have the 2nd gen Kuro Kage shafts in them
looking forward to continuing to get comfortable with them but definitely wont be regretting my choice.
