I’m 10 HC, my current club TR21x, using Neo 950 R, distance 7 iron 170 yards. What to have really good feel of forged steel like miura or epon, but still forgiving.
I’m looking for feel, good looking yet forgiving iron.
Which on I should use? DBM or TS4.
Both are true forged from Carbon Steel and have traditional blade profiles. Both fall under our Super Game Improvement category of our Maltby Playability Factor. If your asking about the original DBM iron (MA0225), it has more traditional lofts and is a slightly larger profile. The TS4 has more modern lofts and and profile. Both are good looking and forgiving and have great feel. I have played both (the DBM for 5 years and changed to the TS4 when it came out) and have had great success with both. I like the more modern lofts of the TS4. We did re-design the TE, DBM for 2024. The new model with the DBM finish is the TE+ Black. It is a modern players cavity profile with modern lofts. It is also true forged carbon steel.
