This is the adaptor unscrewed from a Taylor driver. No idea how to turn this into a regular adaptor or club. Ideas?
thanks … Bill

I think I may have seen that kind of adaptor before, but could not tell you the name, company, etc. Good you got it removed. Definitely looks like a fitting adaptor used to quick change shafts. Not one you would see as a standard OEM adjustable adaptor. Not sure why anyone would want to keep it on their gamer, but I guess if it works it works.
Definitely a no no to use steel to lengthen a graphite shaft. Not surprised they broke.

As it turned out the adaptor come off with minimal heat. It’s a strange piece. I was able to replace on the Maltby pro shaft, lengthened by about an inch and a half. Tall fella.
A previous installer had used a steel shaft to lengthen a graphite shaft. Definite no no. It’s the second driver I’ve done for this customer. Both broke at the shaft extension.
