Never used a Dremell for cutting shafts, but I suppose you could. Graphite easier than steel. The high revs of a standard Dremel with a small blade is not the ideal, although I know you can regulate the speed. If you are talking about Dremel Saws, like the US40 or SM20, then yes, I think you can cut shafts with these tools. You should observe the proper safety precautions (gloves, goggles, etc.) and the shaft would need to be securely held in a vice or clamp. Still, would prefer using one of the several shafting saws we carry specifically designed to cut shafts.
Loft and Lie bending machines we have. If you’re looking for a used one, maybe someone has one they are willing to let go of.

Mahalo!!! Is there a simple saw you would recommend? This is for personal used only – maybe some graphite and few steel.
Stay safe!
