I have a club head and the shaft is broken at the hosel it’s .355 taper tip I tried to use tap to get the shaft without any success, what drill bit size do I have to use to drill it out.
Assuming it is steel, we start with a T (.358″), and then move to a U (.368″) size and then finish with a 3/8″ (.375″). You can step drill 1 3/8″ down with the T, then 7/8″ down with the U, and then 3/8″ down the hosel with the 3/8″ drill bit. You will probably get it out with the T, but if not, proceed with the step drilling process.
