Hello,

I need some advice/guidance on Driver & Fairway wood replacement.
I am a weekly golfer playing to a 14 handicap. I have a driver swing speed of 75-80mph but am playing Cobra ltdx ls driver and woods with stiff shafts. My driver is very inconsistent and my fairways are ok at best.

I’m thinking of replacing them with something from the Maltby line, either the KE4 TC Max driver and KE4 Tour TC fairways or the M890 driver and fairways. I like the lofts on the m890 fairways as I feel they would blend in well with the top end of my irons. I would have the new woods shafted with KuroKage A flex to match my ts3 irons.

Any advice or guidance on what to buy would be greatly appreciated.

The KE4 Max Driver and the Tour TC fairways or the KE4 TC Pro IST (MA0346) or the non adjustable version the KE4 TC IST fairways would work. The M890 line is being discontinued. We do still have some stock, but it is going away. It would be a great choice too, but since it is going away you might want to look at the more current models. We are adding a #9 wood to the KE4 TC PRO fairways, so it has a lot of options.

Based on your club head speed the A flex should be the right move. You should notice a huge difference from the Stiff flex in the Cobra.
