I’m planning on ordering a set with some Dynamic Gold 130g S300 shafts but was wondering what’s the best way to set up the wedges. PW, GW, 52*, 56*. Do people generally just go with the same shaft all the way through or is there a better way to go about it? All shafts will be +0.5inch over standard if that matters at all. Thx
It can vary from player to player, but generally speaking most will go with the same in the PW and GW for sure, and the 52 and 56 most of the time. Personally, I have the same shafts in my PW, and GW (Nippon Pro Modus 120 S flex) and have the KBS Tour Wedge shafts in my 52 and 56. That is what works for me. Players may go with slightly different shafts in the 52, 56, 60 … for the feel or the way the shaft might allow the player to manipulate the ball flight. I think that is something better players do much more than your average player.
