When Golfworks carried Dynalite Gold SL taper tip shafts in 2013 the lengths were 37″ 42″ normally 41″ would be a 1iron and the 9 iron would be 37″ Why was the extra 1″ added?

Nothing was added to the length. The lengths are not the finished lengths. You still need to butt cut to length.
