I just ordered paks of KE4 driver, 3W, 5W and H3 – all with the new MPF+ shafts. Lefty, stiff shaft, standard length. I also bought spare T25 head weights to play with.

My current gamers for those clubs are D3-D5.

Firstly, is it correct that 2gm increase in T25 head weight equals one swingweight?

Secondly, does increasing the stock 8gm T25 weight in the KE4’s I bought affect ball flight? Will it change the launch higher/lower? Will it promote a fade or draw? Change spin?

2 grams is one swingweight. 1 swingweight will effect flex by approximately 1/10th of a flex. Go heavier by one, shaft is 1/10th of a flex softer, for example. Increasing the weight can affect ball flight, but just depends on the player and how much weight you’re talking about. 2 gram increase, probably not noticeable. Theoretically, you go heavier, the shaft plays more flexible and the ball flight could be higher. Spin can vary based on so many different variables it’s difficult to say it would automatically go up with more flex. It could, but might not. So if you dealing with small increments of weight, you most likely will see very little change in ball flight or spin, or very small amounts of change.

As far as a fade or draw bias, probably not seeing that with the KE4 Drivers since the weight is positioned neutrally.
