It’s getting cold in Chicagoland. I currently use a hotbox this time of year when replacing shafts (long wooden box with a couple of light bulbs). I do this not to decrease cure time, but to maintain a reasonable temperature. I normally run it at 95-100 degrees, and let the shafts set for 12 hours or more (don’t release them for play for 24 hours). I use GW high strength shaft epoxy with a 24 cure time.

My question is, will leaving the clubs in the hot box for 12 hours or more have a detrimental effect on the epoxy?
