What are the cons of using a fairway wood shaft for a driver? I’m wanting a shorter and lower launching shaft that’s also heavier overall.
Might play marginally stiffer due to most 3 woods being somewhere around the 210 gram mark.
if you add weight to your driver head it’s gonna be a wash (to get a more traditional swingweight for a driver) and likely play really close to what the 3 wood would’ve played at, that the fairway shaft was designed for.
