I asked on the GW site about the Fuji Pro Iron this question and Jim answered. Can you explain the difference between mid launch/spin and mid trajectory? And more details on the shaft profile/characteristics, particularly the R2 flex? Thanks
Fujikura lists the 75 R2 as Mid like all the others , yet your listing calls it mid high, why the difference?

We have always listed information that the shaft manufactures give us. Fujikura may have changed the description for the R2 flex. We list it as a mid trajectory and they list it as a mid launch and mid spin which does not always mean mid trajectory. We will check with Fujikura to make sure. I have hit the R and S flexes and would call them a mid trajectory but I have never hit the R2 flex to have a comparative ball flight.

I can’t speak for Jim and will ask him, but if I see mid launch/mid spin and also see mid trajectory, I say that’s the same. I think he may be referencing that the shaft is a mid bend point and medium tip stiffness, like the others, but that doesn’t always mean they will have the same trajectories, and that would be because of the overall flex.

In this case, I think it is probably a case that we had the R2 listed at mid/high and it should have been mid so that it was consistent with what they published. That being said, sometimes we will publish a trajectory that we feel is more in line with the specs and our actual testing vs what they publish. I will have to go back in my notes and our database to verify on the Fuji Pro R2. If you see it changes to mid from mid/high in our next catalog and on the website, then you’ll know. Finally, not really much difference between mid and mid/high and it can vary from player to player.
