For Sale: Maltby Glider X (1209 mpf), 3DI thru PW –
The 3DI and 4i have Mitsubishi R flex graphite, 5 thru PW have True Temper Lite R flex steel.
Clubs in great condition.
Golf Pride OS grips great condition.

I had always wanted to try a set of any 1100mpf+ Maltby irons, and these popped up on eBay earlier this year, so I quickly got them.
This model has the lowest COG ever on any iron, and it shows. It’s really amazing to hit an iron that gets the ball up so quickly.
It’s really astounding on the 3DI and 4 iron, to hit a long iron and have the ball launch so easily, it’s like going through butter.

However, they were made in 2005, and don’t pass the 2010 groove rule for USGA qualifiers. (Technically the 3DI and 4 iron do pass)
I was going to put them back on eBay, but I’d rather sell them to someone who appreciates Maltby irons.
