How many wedges do we need?
There’s an 8° gap between my 48 and 56.
Did I do something wrong, or this is how people play?
I can still make changes to it.
Let me know what you guys do. Thanks

The stronger lofts of irons today has forced us as designers, and as players, to add a lot of wedges for sure. With the Gap at 48, a 52, then 56 makes sense and that is actually what I play. I don’t use a 60. If you need a 60, you can add it. Just have to figure out what clubs to remove (if you go by the 14 club rule). Some can use wider gaps, and that’s fine. Just have to figure out what works for you and what you want in your distance gapping. Some players that are really good at hitting 3/4 or 1/2 swing gap wedges will skip the 52 and just have the 48 and then a 54 or 56. Others like to have the perfect 4 degree gap. Just depends on what works for you and what you’re most comfortable with.

I recently ordered the ke4 max set and initially got a 56 glider as my sand wedge. I recently got a 60 max milled as my 14th club and really like it but I now I want to move to a 54 degree sand wedge or maybe a 50 degree gap. I can get by for now with 1/2 and 3/4 swings with the gap but I think the 54 would make things easier on me.
I’m probably going to hold off for now though and wait for the 2025 wedges to be revealed.
