Is it possible to remove a cobra connect grip without destroying the grip, then installing the removed grip on another club? How would you suggest trying to do this?
You should be able to remove it like any other grip. I would suggest removing the Arcos chip first. You should be able to remove it and reinstall it once you re-install the grip on another club.
A couple of methods are used: a v-groove grip remover (VGGR) or the Pressurized Grip Remover (GS6). We have a video on our You Tube channel that shows how to use these. The video is titled “Club Repair Traing – Grip Sizing Installation and Removal” You will need to go to the 24 minute mark for the V-groove removal instruction and the 28 minute mark for the GS6 (needle removal) part.
