Does GolfWorks have any plans to make a heavier graphite iron shaft in either the MPF or the Rapport? I’d love to play graphite iron shafts, but everything that is in the 120g range is $120+/shaft up here in Canada. An affordable, heavy graphite iron shaft seems like it would have quite the market now that graphite iron shafts are typically better than steel shafts in that weight range.
Thanks for the response. I think a lot more people will start to look at heavier Graphite shafts if they are an option that is affordable. As it stands, most people who use a shaft in that weight range don’t consider graphite as it’s either too light or too expensive. A single LA Golf shaft costs more than double a Project X 6.0 or a Dynamic Gold Tour Edition, it’s just not feasible for the average golfer. My coach just put the 120g MMT shafts in his irons and they were over $200/shaft Canadian. They feel amazing to hit though.
