Removing the existing sleeve is relatively easy if you have the right tools. If you have no experience in removing heads or adaptors from graphite, I would suggest you find an experienced club maker or send the shaft to us so we can remove the adaptor and re-install on the new shaft. One option, is to simply buy the new shaft you want with the M3 adaptor installed. The M3 adaptor is currently $22.99. We can install the adaptor on the new shaft for $10.00 (so the price would be cost of the shaft, cost of the adaptor and $10.00 for the install). There is always a slight risk when removing adaptors from graphite that the adaptor and/or the shaft could be damaged. If you want to do it yourself, you will need a shaft extractor, an adaptor savor kit and a heat gun. Also, you will need a vice for the shaft extractor. All the tools you would need can be found on the link below. Again, if you haven’t done it before, get with someone experienced to guide you through it.
