Hi there. I currently use your wedges, along with a hybrid and 3 wood. I eventually would like to buy one of your drivers. The clubs are phenomenal and are great value.

My one concern is not being able to get properly fit. How important do you believe a driver fitting is to finding the right one for someone’s game? Could I go get fit for a shaft and then have good results just switching out the head for your’s?

A good friend of mine and former collegiate player recommends getting completely fit including shaft/driver head. He even recommends at a minimum, going out and trying a bunch of used drivers until I find one I consistently hit well with small misses.

What are your thoughts? I’d love to go with one of your drivers if possible.

I also have the same question essentially for irons as well. Could I just go get fit, find a shaft I like and provide you all the data?

I understand what you are saying. Launchmonitors make it very easy to see how small changes make a difference.

My experience is that I bought 2 driver heads from same brand, based on reviews and price. lets call one Pro and the other MOI. The MOI had 1 degree less loft.

On the LM the two heads with same shaft had exactly the same metrics. So i decided to keep the MOI one as it had a nicer sound.

Next, when using Trackman Tracy with my MOI head, a couple of the metrics were outside the optimal range, i think was spin and launch was too high. So i decreased loft by 1 degree, and it was perfect. Now the only thing I can do to hit the ball further is exercise :-(

So i think you should do the same, get fit for the optimum build, shaft etc, and choose your adjustable head that you can tweak in both directions. You cant lose. And if it doesnt work out, you will have a fair idea of what different kind of head you need.

I havent changed my shaft for 14 years, but at least 3 heads in that time.
