I guess we can save some money and get these putters, but how do they compare to the current line of putters? I’m looking for a mallet putter kinda like what Ricky Fowler uses or Scotty Sheffler.
also, it seems a little risky to get a putter without trying it out first. It’s scary enough with the irons which I did, but now the putter is in a different category for feel.
Have any thoughts on this?
Thanks!
Go to Dick’s / Golf Galaxy and get fitted. Then send GW your specs and buy from them.
I will echo statechamp verbatim. It’s a great putter. Keep in mind if you order online that the men’s standard length is 34 inches. Great price too.
I’ve been using mostly the Maltby PTM-4 blade style putter. But I also have a PTM-5 Mallet putter. Both are exceptional! In the world of putters, there are those who like some kind of insert and those who like a milled block of steel. I prefer the block of steel and the PTM putters are Milled from Japanese S25C which is very soft and provides great feedback and sound. If these putters had the names Scotty Cameron or Bettinardi on them, they’d easily sell for $400+. The milling is very well-done all over and they’re not overly busy looking which I love. The weight of these heads is really nice and well-balanced and I believe you can get a Pak built putter for around $110. Good luck!
I want a center shafted KE4 max putter!
