How many wraps of tape do I put on to made a std grip to a midsize grip?
Below is a link to a Grip sizing chart that we have on The Golfworks website. “Midsize” is defined differently from one manufacturer, player or fitter to the next. Generally, 1/32″ (.930) to 3/64″ (.945) would be considered the mid-size range. How many wraps depends on the core size of the grip you are using, the butt diameter of the shaft you are gripping, and the thickness of the build up tape you are using. The chart should give you the information you need to create a midsize grip using extra wraps.
