I have played the TE Forged and liked them but would like the stronger lofts of todays irons. I have read reviews of the TS4 which are very positive but not much about the new TE+ heads. If you have played them both, how would you describe the difference in playability and feel? I plan on using the MPF Pro Series shafts on any new build. I love your information and thanks in advance.
In my experience, the feel and performance are very similar. The TE+ has slightly stronger lofts and you might see a slight difference in yardages or trajectories because of it, but I did not play the TE+ multiple rounds to where I might notice a difference. Very slight differences in sole width, top line width, but overall similar profiles. I think it comes down to the lofts and the cosmetic. If you want the stronger modern lofts, the TE+. The TS4 still has what we consider modern lofts, but are 1 degree weaker. I will say the TE+ Black is awesome and if you prefer the DBM black finish, The TE+ has that option. We are planning to have the TS4 in DBM Black next year.
