I currently play PING g400 4h and 5h with a recoil ESX hybrid shaft..
I use these as iron replacements at the same length as a standard 5i or 4i, as the hybrid design helps me get a little more height and spin.
Problem I have is that the G400 hybrids, and most hybrids for me in general, tend to have a draw bias or closed looking face, and I tend to hook or miss left often, yet have no trouble fading my irons.
Which Maltby hybrid design would provide the highest launch and most neutral to open face st address, or possibly provide less draw bias than the g400s I currently play? I really want to eliminate the left side of the course with my hybrids.
Great! I was looking at the new TC Pro hybrids in the catalog actually, and thought they might fit the bill… it appears to have a slightly more shallow face, which usually helps me get a little more launch from the fairways, which is where I use my hybrids a lot actually.. my longest iron in my bag is a 6i, and then I move into an iron length 5h and 4h… I’d even consider swapping out the 6i for a 30-32 degree hybrid if you ever consider developing one! ** hint hint **
Thanks for the advice again, appreciated.
